In Delaware’s 41st Representative District, we often hear the word “service” during election season, but for Doug Conaway, it is a lifelong commitment. As a former Delaware State Police trooper and a retired command sergeant major, Doug has spent decades protecting our community and our country.
What truly sets Doug apart is his character when the cameras are off. We were struck by the story of how he built a home at cost for a fellow veteran, refusing to take a single cent in profit. This “people first” mentality is exactly what we need in Dover.
District 41 is at a crossroad. Sussex County is growing rapidly, and our roads and utilities are feeling the strain. Doug isn’t just offering slogans; he has a proactive plan to work across party lines and coordinate with County Council to ensure that our infrastructure keeps pace with development. He also understands that small businesses are our backbone and wants to replace “red tape” with regulations that actually solve problems.
Doug Conaway has served with pride and dignity in every uniform he has worn. It’s time we give him the opportunity to serve us as our state representative.
