MARYDEL — The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control announced Wednesday that the Mud Mill Pond boat ramp and adjacent parking lot have been reopened.
The reopening comes after a change in the Mud Mill Pond dam construction schedule, which will close the boat ramps and parking lot from August until March 2023 for construction activities.
The department encourages anglers who fish from a boat or shore from public access areas to use the Derby Pond boat ramp near Camden or Garrisons Lake boat ramp near Smyrna while dam construction is underway.
For more information regarding the boat ramp closure, contact the DNREC Division of Fish and Wildlife Fisheries Section at 302-739-9914.
