DOVER— The Delaware Journalism Collaborative’s gubernatorial debate at the Dover Public Library on Wednesday will be livestreamed in both English and Spanish.
Broadcasts of the debate – which will take place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. – can be found at the collaborative’s YouTube channel and Facebook page.

The candidates who have committed to participate in the debate are Democrats Lt. Gov. Bethany Hall-Long, New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer and former DNREC secretary Collin O’Mara, and Republican House Minority Leader Mike Ramone.
Due to size constraints, in-person attendance at the debate is by invitation only, the collaborative announced.
A second debate featuring Delaware’s candidates for the state’s lone seat in the U.S. House of Representatives will take place Aug. 27 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Wilmington Public Library. The candidates who have been invited include Democrats Earl Cooper, state Sen. Sarah McBride and Elias Weir, and Republicans Donyale Hall and John J. Whalen III.
