The Daughters of the American Revolution’s Col. John Haslet chapter joined with the Sons of the American Revolution’s Caesar Rodney chapter in an Independence Day celebration at Christ Church, Dover. The event honored the patriots of the American Revolution and joined a grave-marking ceremony for 2nd Lt. Coe Gordon at the Quaker cemetery in Little Creek. Participating in the event were, from left, Haslet chapter regent Donna Josefowski; Jennifer Horsley, the Col. David Hall chapter’s vice regent; Haslet chapter members Lorna McElhone, Sandra Titus, Debbie St. Jean, Robin Achenberg, Dorothy Abbott and Cheryl James; and Carolyn Foxwell, the state society’s vice regent and member of the Mary Vining chapter.
