I’m writing in response to the Opinion by Jeffrey Quiggle, “Veterans group decries the use of National Guard in D.C.”
The first paragraph penned by Mr. Quiggle says it all: Don’t attack the policy; attack the individual. It pained me to read the comments of someone who represents my brothers and sisters in arms. Does Mr. Quiggle and his caucus really want to pen their support for Democrats, who are only concerned with their loss of power versus making our cities safe again?
The four points he highlights are nothing more than Democratic misinformation and talking points parroted by groups like his and our national and print news media. I fear his hatred of Donald Trump has caused him to forget why we served: Mission first, soldier always.
