Daniels: Happy to say goodbye to Joe

Posted

Frank Daniels is a retired colonel with the U.S. Army Reserve and a Dover resident.

As a retired Army colonel whose deployments included Bosnia, Africa, Kuwait, Afghanistan and a two-year assignment to the Pentagon, it truly pains me that I am happy to bid farewell to a president. As more information on the “real” Joe Biden is coming to light, I can only ask, who has been our commander in chief for the past four years? Our national TV and newspaper outlets have been complicit in the lies articulated to the American public concerning Joe’s mental capacity, functioning ability and what he was truly doing via his policies to destroy this country.

When Joe delivered his inaugural address in January 2021, he promised to unite this country and end the chaos he portrayed as being created by the outgoing Tr ump administration. That speech was a total lie and an insult to the American public. What ensued during his four years in office will be recorded as potentially the worst in American government history by the worst president ever elected.

Joe’s vice president and his Cabinet secretaries, in concert with our national TV and news media, constantly told us not to believe what we see with our eyes and feel in our wallets, highlighting how little he and they believed in improving the lives of American citizens. His administration’s policies and political ideologies (were they really his or just extensions of Barack Obama’s?), which displayed unbridled government spending, the weaponization of our judicial system, open borders, a foreign policy of appeasement, transgender politics, belief in the religion of climate change and diversity, equity and inclusion, have divided our country and endangered our national security.

His policies and political ideologies have given us rampant inflation, millions of illegal immigrants, the questioning of our legal system, a deadly and terrible departure from Afghanistan, two foreign wars, boys participating in girls’ sports and the death of meritocracy. However, if you truly listen to him when he speaks, which is extremely rare, we are without any concern or problems. Our economy is great, and we are not to worry about what’s happening in the world.

Since Election Day, Joe has been absolutely silent on what’s happening in our country and the world. However, behind the scenes, he’s been working quietly and diligently to destroy any policy President-elect Donald Trump desires to put into place.

Joe accelerated spending of millions and millions of dollars on his wasteful policy of climate change, and he continues his policy of forcing electric vehicles on the American public. His Cabinet secretaries continue to write and publish government regulations designed to destroy our capitalistic economy. Through his Department of Defense, he’s sold millions of dollars of border wall for 5 cents on the dollar. He’s hidden his policy of flying illegal immigrants into the United States, and as he’s been for this past four years, he is absolutely oblivious to the needs of millions of American citizens.

He’s been on vacation fully 40% of the time he’s been in office, and the other 60% of his time, he’s been nothing more than a puppet for the Washington bureaucratic bubble of entrenched politicians who really control this country. However, hope is truly on the way.

President-elect Trump, not of the Washington bureaucratic bubble, takes office Jan. 20 with a cohort of individuals prepped and ready to dismantle the bubble and once again make our government work for its people, not the entrenched politician.
