Cape Henlopen board to elect officers, discuss ethics

LEWES — At its first meeting since a June 12 retreat, the Cape Henlopen School District Board of Education will meet Thursday at 6 p.m. at Lewes Elementary School, 820 Savannah Road.

Among the agenda items are the elections for president and vice president of the board, offices currently held by Dr. Allison Myers and Julie Derrick.

The board will also appoint an executive secretary, set meeting dates for the coming year and determine committee assignments.

Also, the board will hear a presentation on a policy governing its members’ ethics.
