For nearly four decades, cyclists have traveled to Kent County to get a taste of Amish country — not just the baked goods but a nice scenic ride, too.
Last year, the Amish Country Bike Tour enjoyed a record-setting turnout of more than 3,000 riders. Sadly, the event’s first fatality was also witnessed, as a 51-year-old Pennsylvania man was killed in a collision.
