WESTOVER — Somerset County Sheriff Ronnie Howard announces the following incidents and arrests.

Gilbert Marise Dashields of Princess Anne, arrested 10-201-5 on a contempt warrant. Dashields was later released on an unsecured bond.

Daniel Todd Alveberg of Deal Island, arrested 10-20-15 on a civil body attachment. Alveberg was later released on personal recognizance.

John Leroy Applegate of Crisfield, arrested 10-20-15 for driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol, and driving while under the influence of alcohol per-se. Applegate was later released on signature pending court actions. Deputies were at a residence in the area of William Maddox Rd regarding the service of a protective order when Applegate was seen driving a pickup truck onto the property intoxicated.

Kevin Wayne Richmond of Princess Anne, charged with possessing an open can of alcohol in a vehicle in the area of the Mt. Vernon Harbor. Richmond was issued a civil citation and later released.

Devin Cornelius Boynton of Deal Island, Criminal Summons served for littering. Boynton was later released on signature pending court actions.
