CRISFIELD — The Crisfield Salvation Army will be accepting applications for three days this month from residents in need for Christmas. Eligible families with children 14 and under can be enrolled for toys while all other qualifying family members will be able to receive a food box.

Applications will be taken 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, Oct. 15-17, and from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16 at the Salvation Army Youth Club gym, 8 East Main Street. Bring a photo ID of yourself and other adults in the family, birth certificates or appropriate Social Security, school or medical records for children 14 and under, recent pay stubs to show household income, receipts to show all bills are paid in the last 30 days and if you are living with someone who takes care of you their photo ID and a letter denoting that fact.
