Princess Anne Police seek information on shooting incident

PRINCESS ANNE — The Princess Anne Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred during the early evening hours of Tuesday, July 25, 2017 on Antioch Avenue. Two victims were taken to PRMC for non-life-threatening injuries. Anyone with any information concerning this incident is encouraged to contact PAPD at 410-651-1822. Callers can also contact Crime Solvers of the Lower Eastern Shore at 410-548-1776 to give anonymous tips concerning this incident. Information that leads to an arrest can result in monetary awards. In other news from the department: · On 7-22-17, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Joshua James Ward, 50, of Pocomoke, Maryland for driving under the influence of alcohol. The arrest stemmed from officers responded to a complaint of an intoxicated driver in the area of the Food Lion store located near Mt. Vernon Road. Ward was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol, negligent driving, and failure to display registration card upon demand. Ward was subsequently released from custody upon being issued his citations.

· On 7-20-17, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to the Pine Knoll Drive area in reference to a shooting. Investigation revealed that after an altercation had occurred, the suspect fired a shot at the victims who were driving away from the area in a vehicle. No injuries were reported and the suspect was identified as Tavion Lavelle Crawford, 23, of Princess Anne, Maryland. Crawford has not been located, however there is an active arrest warrant on file for Crawford in regards to this incident.

· On 7-20-17, the Princess Anne Police Department charged Debbie Jane Forbes, 55, of Princess Anne, Maryland with disturbing the peace. The charge stemmed from a complaint at 12251 Anne’s Way. Forbes was charged with disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct. Forbes was subsequently released from custody after being issued her criminal citations.

· On 7-18-17, the Princess Anne Police Department served Donna Rose Talya Bagaloo, 23, of Princess Anne, Maryland with an outstanding District Court bench warrant for failure to appear. Bagaloo was seen by a District Court Commissioner who released Bagaloo on a $1,000.00 unsecure bond.

· On 7-17-17, the Princess Anne Police Department served Byron Lamont Bell, 21, of Parkville, Maryland with an outstanding District Court arrest warrant. The arrest warrant charged Bell with burglary 3rd degree, conspiracy to commit burglary 3rd degree, burglary 4th degree, malicious destruction of property plus $1,000.00, and disturbing the peace. The charges were in regards to an incident that occurred on 5-12-17 at the Ardens Run apartment complex located at 30630 UMES Boulevard. Bell was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $20,000.00 bond. Bell was subsequently released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.
