Princess Anne Police report latest incidents and arrests

PRINCESS ANNE — Princess Anne Police Chief Tim Bozman reports the following recent incidents and arrests.

 

  • On 3-3-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested April Nicole Sparks, 29, of Princess Anne, Maryland for assault second degree. The arrest stemmed from an assault complaint that occurred at 30000 Kristwood Way. Sparks was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $2,500.00 bond. Sparks was released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

 

  • On 3-1-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Kristen Lynette Stevens, 42, of Princess Anne, Maryland due to an outstanding District Court arrest warrant for assault second degree. The charge stemmed from an incident that occurred on 3-1-16 at 12034 Somerset Avenue. Officers also served two other warrants from Worcester County and Wicomico County. Stevens was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $10,000.00 bond for all the warrants. Stevens was released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

 

  • On 2-27-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Paul Timothy Wood Jr., 54, of Princess Anne, Maryland due to an outstanding District Court bench warrant for failure to appear. Wood Jr. was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $10,000.00 bond. Wood Jr. was released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

 

  • On 2-23-16, the Princess Anne Police Department served an outstanding District Court bench warrant on David Richard Banks, 35, of Laurel, Delaware. The warrant was for failure to appear and Banks was seen by a District Court Commissioner who released Banks on $5,000.00 unsecure bond.

 

  • On 2-23-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Kitsia Bisselele, 22, of Princess Anne, Maryland and Chantel Renee Thompson, 21, of Princess Anne, Maryland for assault 12071second degree. The arrests stemmed from an assault investigation that occurred at the Talon’s South apartment complex located off of UMES Boulevard. Both Bisselele and Thompson were charged with assault second degree and were seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $5,000.00 bond on both subjects. Bisselele and Thompson were released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

 

  • On 2-22-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Travon Marquis Toomer, 21, of Princess Anne, Maryland for driving on a suspended license. The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop where Toomer was found to be the driver of the vehicle. Toomer was charged with failure to be restrained by a seatbelt, failure to display license upon demand, unauthorized display and use of registration plate, driving without a license, driving on a suspended license and privilege. Toomer was released from custody upon being issued his traffic citations.
