PRINCESS ANNE — Princess Anne Police Department Chief of Police Tim Bozman reports the following recent incidents and arrests.

• On 11-13-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Dandre Samuel Holland, 29, of Mardela Springs, Maryland in reference to an outstanding arrest warrant.  The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop where Holland was found to be the operator.  Officers discovered that Holland had an outstanding District Court arrest warrant through Anne Arundel County for theft less than $100.00.  Holland was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $5,000.00 unsecure bond.

• On 11-11-16, the Princess Anne Police Department served Joel Thomas Collins, 50, of Princess Anne, Maryland, with an outstanding District Court criminal summons.  The criminal summons charged Collins with malicious destruction of property under $1,000.00 in reference to an incident that occurred on     11-10-16 at the District Court Commissioners Office.  Collins was released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center upon being served with his copy of the criminal summons.

• On 11-11-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested James Todd Hunter Jr., 21, of Princess Anne Maryland in reference to two outstanding warrants.  The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop where Hunter Jr. was found to be the operator.  Officers discovered that Hunter Jr. had an outstanding District Court arrest warrant out of Somerset County and an outstanding District Court arrest warrant out of Baltimore County.  The arrest warrant from Somerset County charged Hunter Jr. with assault 2^nd degree, malicious destruction of property under $1,000.00, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, and affray in reference to an incident that occurred at the Goose Creek store located at 30293 Mt. Vernon Road on 7-28-16.  The arrest warrant from Baltimore County charged Hunter Jr. with four counts of violating an ex parte/peace order, harassment, and telephone misuse.  Hunter Jr. was also issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana under 10 grams along with several traffic citations.  Hunter Jr. was seen by a District Commissioner who issued a $5,000.00 unsecure bond on each warrant.

• On 11-11-16, the Princess Anne Police Department charged James Montrell Williams, 25, of Westover, Maryland with possession of marijuana under 10 grams.  The charge resulted from Williams being found to be in possession of marijuana as he was a passenger of a vehicle that officers conducted a traffic stop on.  Williams was issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana under 10 grams.

• On 11-10-16, the Princess Anne Police Department served Greg Huggler, 36, of Princess Anne, Maryland with a District Court criminal summons.  The criminal summons charged Huggler with assault second degree in reference to an incident that occurred on 10-29-16 at the Washington Inn and Tavern located at 11784 Somerset Avenue.  Huggler was released upon being served with his copy of the criminal summons.

• On 11-9-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Joel Thomas Collins, 50, of Princess Anne, Maryland for assault second degree.  The arrest stemmed from an assault complaint at 11513 Beckford Avenue.  Collins was charged with assault second degree, animal cruelty, and aggravated cruelty animal.  Collins was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a temporary commitment.  Collins was released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

• On 11-9-16, the Princess Anne Police Department served Naquan Rommel Jones, 22, of Princess Anne, Maryland with a District Court criminal summons.  The criminal summons charged Jones with trespassing in reference to an incident that occurred on 10-22-16 at 11513 Beckford Avenue.  Jones was released upon being served with his copy of the criminal summons.  2016-4082.

• On 11-6-16, the Princess Anne Police Department charged a 13 year-old-juvenile with theft less than $100.  The charge stemmed from officers observing the juvenile on a bicycle that had been reported stolen earlier on 11-6-16 at the Family Dollar store located at 30408 Mt. Vernon Road.  The case has been forwarded to the Department of Juvenile Services.

• On 11-4-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Patty Marie Shea, 23, of Eden, Maryland for driving while impaired by alcohol.  The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop where Shea was found to be the operator.  Shea was charged with failure to provide turn signal, negligent driving, failure to display a registration card, failure to display a license, driving with an expired license, driving a vehicle without a license, failure of a licensee to notify MVA of address change, driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, and driving while impaired by alcohol.  Shea was released from custody upon signing for her citations.

• On 11-3-16, the Princess Anne Police Department charged Kolanda Shelton, 28, of Princess Anne, Maryland with driving a vehicle on a suspended out of state license.  The charge stemmed from officers investigating a motor vehicle collision in the area of 11790 Beechwood Street.  Shelton was found to the driver of a vehicle that backed into a parked vehicle.  Shelton was charged with driving a vehicle on a suspended out of state license.  Shelton was released from the scene upon being issued her citation.

• On 11-1-16, the Princess Anne Police Department charged a 14-year-old juvenile, of Princess Anne, Maryland with affray and assault 2^nd degree.  The charges stemmed from an assault investigation that occurred on 10-31-16 near the playground located on Pine Knoll Drive.  The case was forwarded to the Department of Juvenile Services.

• On 11-1-16, the Princess Anne Police Department charged a 12-year-old juvenile, of Princess Anne, Maryland with affray.  The charges stemmed from an assault investigation that occurred on 10-31-16 near the playground located on Pine Knoll Drive.  The case was forwarded to the Department of Juvenile Services.
