Armed robbery tops Princess Anne Police reports

PRINCESS ANNE — The Princess Anne Police Department posts the following recent incidents and arrests.

  • On 10-30-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested David Eugene Whitehurst, 30, of Princess Anne, Maryland for armed robbery. The arrest stemmed from an armed robbery incident at the PNC Bank ATM located at 30389 Mt. Vernon Road.  Whitehurst was charged with armed robbery, robbery, assault 1st degree, assault 2nd degree, reckless endangerment, and theft less than $100.00.  Whitehurst was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $75,000.00 bond.  Whitehurst was released to the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

 

  • On 10-29-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Antony Jose Armengo-Angeles, 19, of North Brentwood, Maryland for possession of a controlled dangerous substance. The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop where Armengo-Angeles was found to be the driver.  Armengo-Angeles was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance-marijuana more than 10 grams.  Armengo-Angeles was seen by a District Court Commissioner who released Armengo-Angeles on personal recognizance.

 

  • On 10-29-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Kristopher Lionel Kline, 21, of Laurel, Maryland for possession of a controlled dangerous substance. The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop where Kline was found to be a passenger.  Officers also discovered that Kline had two outstanding arrest warrants, one from the District Court in Prince George’s County and the second one from the Circuit Court in Prince George’s County.  Kline was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance-marijuana more than 10 grams.  Kline was seen by a District Court Commissioner who committed Kline in regards to the outstanding Circuit Court warrant.  Kline was released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

 

 

  • On 10-25-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Charles Unique Phylicia Lomax

    Coney, 22, of Princess Anne, Maryland for an outstanding District Court arrest warrant. The arrest warrant charged Coney with home invasion, burglary 3rd degree, burglary 4th degree, and trespassing in reference to an incident that occurred on 9-6-16 at the Talon’s Square South apartment complex located off of UMES Boulevard.  Coney was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $15,000.00 bond.  Coney was released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

 

  • On 10-24-16, the Princess Anne Police Department charged Kevin Deandre Turpin, 41, of Princess Anne, Maryland with theft less than $100.00. The charge stemmed from a theft investigation at the Dollar General store located at 30371 Mt. Vernon Road.  Turpin was issued a criminal citation for theft less than $100.00 and was released from the scene.

 

  • On 10-24-16, the Princess Anne Police Department charged Zachary Tobias Nauman, 38, of Princess Anne, Maryland with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. The charge stemmed from a traffic stop where Nauman was found to be the driver of the vehicle.  Nauman was issued a civil citation for possession of a controlled dangerous substance-marijuana under 10 grams and was released from the scene.

 

  • On 10-24-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Aaron Devin Jones, 32, of Princess Anne, Maryland for assault 2nd The arrest stemmed from an assault complaint at 30615 Pine Knoll Drive.  Jones was charged with three counts of assault 2nd degree and was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $30,000.00 bond.  Jones was released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

 

  • On 10-24-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Devin Devon Bryant, 19, of Randallstown, Maryland for possession of a controlled dangerous substance. The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop where Bryant was found to be the driver.  Bryant was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance-marijuana more than 10 grams.  Bryant was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued an unsecure $10,000.00 bond.
