CAMBRIDGE —The Wings & Wheels festival is returning to the Cambridge-Dorchester Regional Airport on Saturday, May 23. The event will showcase planes, cars and motorcycles for a one-day show right off the airport runway. General admission is $5, registration for participating in the car show is $15.

This year, Wings & Wheels includes a motorcycle show by the Mid Shore Chapter of ABATE of Maryland, a car show by the Cambridge Wheels Car Club, and an airplane show by B&B Sport Aviation. In addition, the festival will host a special appearance by stunt pilot Bill Finagin.

New this year will be a display of restored military aircraft hosted by Warrior Aviation, an organization that is also the charity beneficiary of the 2015 profits from Wings & Wheels.

Other organizations scheduled to participate include DNR’s Scales & Tales, the Maryland State Police helicopter, Coast Guard, and an L-3 Vandy 1 jet.. There are also plans for a kids’ corner and a petting zoo.

The band Blackwater will be on hand again to provide musical entertainment. Food, catered by Two Chicks, Hound Dog, and Big Al’s Grill, will be available for sale, and the Bud Lite Beer Wagon will also be there. This event is sponsored by Cambridge Motorsports and B&B Sport Aviation.

Wings & Wheels is a one day event, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 23. The Cambridge-Dorchester Regional Airport is on Bucktown Road, a mile west of Route 50. See you there!
