South Division Street Bridge to undergo inspection, affecting traffic on Oct. 18

Posted

SALISBURY — The City of Salisbury’s Department of Infrastructure and Development would like to notify the public that a contractor will be performing a routine bridge inspection on the South Division Street Bridge on Friday Oct. 18, 2024 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

There will be activity on and around and under the structure of the bridge, so drivers and pedestrians should be alert in the area. Traffic could be impacted by temporary lane closures, but flaggers will be provided by the contractor if there is a need.

The bike lane on the bridge will likely be impacted and serve as a staging area for vehicles and equipment, so bicyclists should also be alert.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this inspection.
