Services at Grace UMC

Grace UM Church, 501 Race St., Cambridge will have the following services Sunday:

8:45 a.m. Early Morning Grace with Leader; Christine Kidd and Speaker: Shelley McCollister, lay servant. 9:45 a.m. Sunday School. Baraca Class. Penny Pink, guest singer. Dr. Hines Class. Vernon Hurley, teacher. 11 a.m. Worship with speaker Shelley McCollister, lay servant. Dec. 10: 11 a.m. Sunday School Christmas program in the sanctuary.

Nazarene Services

At the Cambridge Church of the Nazarene Sunday at 10:45 a.m. The Rev. Richard Prahl will be preaching on Isaiah 64:1-9, the first Sunday of Advent. Carol Bloodsworth will minister in song.

Wesleyan Activities

The Cambridge Wesleyan Church is now offering two services. 8 a.m. Traditional service and 10:45 a.m. a Contemporary service. Sunday,

The church is located at 801 Race St., Cambridge (corner of Race and Washington). Host pastor is Pastor Jack Diehl.

On Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. and again on Dec. 10 at 10:30 a.m. A Christmas Program will be presented at Cambridge Wesleyan.

On Dec. 24 at 6 p.m. the Christmas Eve service, “The Inn Keeper and his Wife,” will be presented. The public is invited.

Gleaners and Richardson Men

The Gleaners Class of St. Paul’s UM Church in Cambridge will meet Sunday at 9:45 a.m. with Jean Fountain having the devotions and Gary Hickman teaching the lesson.

The Richardson Men’s Class will also convene at 9:45 a.m. with Randy Bradford providing the devotion and teaching the lesson.

Spiritual Nourishment

Sunday at 3 p.m. Pastor Pamela Polk-Ward of Princess Anne will be at New Life Christian Church and Ministries, 923 Phillips St., Cambridge.

Christmas Bazaar

Waugh Chapel United Methodist Church, 425 High St. in Cambridge, will be hosting their Annual Christmas Bazaar on Dec. 2, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be Christmas crafts, flea market tables, tricky tray and more just in time for your holiday purchases.

Breakfast will be sold to eat in or carry out. Tables to sell your crafts or gently used items are available for $10. The Rev. James C. Whitaker is the host pastor.

Parade Booth

On Dec. 2 Christ Episcopal Church of Cambridge will have a Christmas Parade Booth at 5 p.m. in front of the church serving hot chocolate, coffee, cookies and brownies.

Praise and Christmas Concert

The St. Paul’s Praise Team of St. Paul’s UM Church in Cambridge will present a Praise and Christmas concert at 7 p.m. on Dec. 3 at the church at 205 Maryland Ave., Cambridge.

The public is invited to join in for an evening of special praise and worship and a celebration of the Christmas season in song. A love offering will be taken to support the local Cambridge Cold Weather Shelter.

Mt. Sinai Homecoming

The Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Churh, 839 Park Lane, Cambridge will celebrate its Annual Homecoming at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 5.

Mt. Sinai was erected in 1926.

Preacher of the hour will be Bishop Charles Cephas of the Full Gospel Church of God in Hurlock.

Host pastor is Clarence Rochester. The public is invited.

New Life Christmas Store

Tis the season to start your holiday shopping at New Life Christian Church and Ministries, Dec. 9, at 11 a.m. Please come and support our Youth/Children’s Ministry as they open The Christmas Store.

A variety of items for men, women and children will be on display and available for purchase. Items will be reasonably priced. The store is open to the public.

Agape Temple of Praise and Ministries presents “It Was A Silent Night Fashion Show” at 5 p.m. on Dec. 16 at the church at 815 Center St., Cambridge.

Noonday services
