Nazarene Services

Gleaners and Richardson Men

The Gleaners Class of St. Paul’s UM Church in Cambridge will meet Sunday at 9:45 a.m. with Gloria Whaley having the devotions and Dot Bradshaw teaching the lesson.

The Richardson Men’s Class will also convene at 9:45 a.m. with Leon Peters providing the devotion and teaching the lesson.

Annual Homecoming

John Wesley UM Church on Liners Road will have homecoming at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The messenger for the service will be Elder Craig Mathies of Zion Baptist Church in Cambridge. He will be accomapnied by his choir and congregation.

Dinner will be served beginning at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Roslyn Watts is host pastor. The public is invited.

Homecoming on Sunday

The National Church of God in East New Market will observe its Annual Homecoming on Sunday. At the 10 a.m. service the speaker will be Bishop William Davis.

At 3:30 p.m. Pastor Carla Wongus accompanied by her choir and congregation from the United Deliverance Bible Center in Laurel, Del. will bring the message.

The public is invited. Host pastor is the Rev. William Davis.

Ladies' Prayer Breakfast

St. Paul’s UM Church, 205 Maryland Ave., Cambridge will host the November’s Ladies Prayer Breakfast at 8 a.m. Saturday. The guest speaker will be June McKelvey.

Come join in for a thankful celebration.

Men’s Day

The Agape Temple of Praise and Ministries, Inc. will celebrate its 7th Annual Men’s Day at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 26 at th e church at 815 Center St., Cambridge.

The theme is “Lean On Me” One Brother Helping Another.

Guest preacher will be Senior Pastor Apostle Richard Scott of the Grow in Grace Center, Delmar, Md.

A freewill offering will be taken. The public is invited. Host pastor is V. Louise Cornish.

Memorial Service

The public is invited to the Salvation Army on Nov. 29 for a service of music and remembrance at 6 p.m. Dr. William Bair, violinist and Laura Todd, pianist and Captain Kristy Nkanza, flutist, will be the special musical guests. Their music will bless and inspire those in attendance.

The Christmas tree will be decorated with memorial angels.

Refreshments will be served following the service.

The Salvation Army is located at 200 Washington St. The public is invited.

Christmas Bazaar

Waugh Chapel United Methodist Church, 425 High St. in Cambridge, will be hosting their Annual Christmas Bazaar on Dec. 2, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be Christmas crafts, flea market tables, tricky tray and more just in time for your holiday purchases.

Breakfast will be sold to eat in or carry out. Tables to sell your crafts or gently used items are available for $10. The Rev. James C. Whitaker is the host pastor.

Mt. Sinai Homecoming

The Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Churh, 839Park Lane, Cambridge will celebrate its Annual Homecoming at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 5.

Mt. Sinai was erected in 1926.

Preacher of the hour will be Bishop Charles Cephas of the Full Gospel Church of God in Hurlock.

Host pastor is Clarence Rochester. The public is invited.

Praise and Christmas Concert

The St. Paul’s Praise Team of St. Paul’s UM Church in Cambridge will present a Praise and Christmas concert at 7 p.m. on Dec. 3 at the church at 205 Maryland Ave., Cambridge.

The public is invited to join in for an evening of special praise and worship and a celebration of the Christmas season in song. A love offering will be taken to support the local Cambridge Cold Weather Shelter.
