JACKSONVILLE, N.C. - Zachary Joseph "Zach" Aldrich, 15, of Jacksonville, N.C., passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014. He was born in Prince William County, Va. on October 22, 1998 and was currently a freshman at White Oak High School. Zach was very athletic and especially loved football and skateboarding. He also enjoyed making others laugh. Surviving, are his parents, Tim and Beth Aldrich of the home; two brothers, Timothy Aldrich, Jr., Tony Aldrich, both of the home; paternal grandmother, Patrice McDowell and husband Bob of Dover, Del.; paternal grandfather, Chuck Aldrich and wife Judy of Felton, Del.; maternal grandfather, Donald Price and wife Patricia of New Castle, Del.; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, April 26, 2014 in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville, N.C. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children; 950 W. Faris Street; Greenville, SC 29605. Electronic condolences may be left for the family at www.jonesfh.org
