HARRINGTON — Zach Williams's Delaware State Fair concert has been canceled after the performer contracted COVID-19 and must quarantine.
The performance was scheduled for Saturday on the M&T Bank Grandstand stage at 7:30 p.m.
“Though my band and I have taken as many precautions as possible while touring this year, it finally caught up with me," he said in a prepared statement. "Please keep me and my family in your prayers. Fortunately, the virus is presenting itself in a manageable way and I am resting and recuperating at home. Thank you all and God bless.”
The Saturday Fireworks Show, presented by M&T Bank will now be displayed after the “An Evening with 38 Special” show, Friday July 30, at 8 p.m. (fireworks at approximately 9:30 p.m.). Seats are still available.
