MILLSBORO - Winifred H. Short of Millsboro passed away on Friday, June 1, 2012 at Atlantic Shores in Millsboro. She was 91. Winifred was born in Georgetown, the daughter of the late Sim and Hettie (Bailey) Willey. She was a home healthcare provider. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Short, Sr.; and her brother, William Willey. She is survived by her children, Addie Sams of Milford, Hettie Absher of North Carolina, Billy Webb and his wife Katherine of Millsboro, W. Eddie Webb and his wife Pat of Georgetown and step-brother, Joseph Short, Jr. and Fran of Kentucky; and several grandchildren. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Friday, June 8, 2012, at Lincoln Cemetery, Clendaniel Pond Road, Lincoln. Arrangements handled by Short Funeral Services, Georgetown.
