GREENWOOD - William Wesley Boyce, of Greenwood, died Thursday, July 29, 2010, at his home. He was 51. Bill was born on March 10, 1959, in St. Lucie, Fla., to Jacob and Ruth Boyce of Seaford. He served in the US Army and the Maryland Army National Guards. Bill was Sussex County Paramedic #849 from 1992 to 2002 and he also worked at Mountaire Farms in Selbyville as a Occupational Health Nurse for 5 years. He was a member of Victory Tabernacle Church of God in Laurel. Bill enjoyed golf, playing his guitar and singing especially in church. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Boyce; and sister, Nancy Gagliani. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Ruth of 27 years; five children, April Mansfield of Bridgeville, Ryan Boyce of Bridgeville, Wesley Boyce of Greenwood, Amber Passwaters and her husband Tommy of Laurel, and Justin Boyce of Greenwood; 14 grandchildren; and three brothers, Dale Elliott of North Carolina, David Boyce of Pennsylvania, Richard Boyce of Blades. Friends may call Monday, Aug. 2, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Victory Tabernacle Church of God, 28261 Seaford Road, Laurel, DE 19956. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, at 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be held at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fleischauer Funeral Home, POB 502, Greenwood, DE 19950 to help the family with funeral expenses.
