William T. Adams, 81 GEORGETOWN - William T. Adams, age 81, of Georgetown, passed away on Dec. 23, 2009, at Atlantic Shores Nursing Home, Millsboro. He was born in Lewes, a son of the late Ira Lee Adams and Carrie Wilson Adams. William is survived by his brothers, James Adams and wife Virginia, Ira Nelson Adams and wife Barbara, Alton Noah Adams and wife Sandy; his sisters, M. Elizabeth Barker, Gertrude Shockley, Eva Rimel and husband Paul, Lois A. Truitt and husband Everett, and Sallie Wharton and husband James; a goddaughter, Kenna Murray; numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service was held at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home on Tuesday, Dec. 29. The Rev. Julie Lewis officiated. Interment followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
