LONG NECK - William S. Rhodes, 51, of Long Neck, died on Saturday, May 14, 2011. Billy was preceded in death by his mother, Judith A Rhodes-Miller; and grandfather, A. Lynn Rhodes. He is survived by a son, William S Rhodes Jr.; a daughter, Loretta Rhodes and granddaughter, Ava; his father, Arthur L. Rhodes Jr. and wife Nancy; a brother, Arthur L Rhodes III; two sisters, Stacey L Avery and Kristen L Burross; and a companion, Kim M. Getz with whom he resided. A celebration of his life will be 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25th at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, DE 19966, where friends and family may call after 11:30 a.m. A service and burial in Pennsylvania will be held at the convenience of the family.
