Jennings, 56 ELLENDALE – William O. "Bill" Jennings passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Bayhealth/Kent General Hospital. Bill was born in Lewes, son of the late Robert and Mabel (Wilkins) Jennings. He was a dedicated worker and worked demolition and construction most of his life with Melvin Joseph, AP Croll, J&J Logging and most recently, Super Clean Demolition. In early years he worked alongside his father in a family owned logging business. Bill was a greeter and member at Eagles Nest Fellowship Church. He is survived by his eldest daughter, Julianne Jennings, of Milton; four children, William II, of Milford, Robert E. and Jean, both of Georgetown, and Debbra Jennings, of West Friendship, Md.; and their mother, Candy (Netz) Jennings; four grandchildren, JT, Kyson, Carter and Adriana; and four siblings, Debbie Coverdale, Robert "Bob" Jennings, Richard "Rick" Jennings and Jean Hawley. A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 2 p.m. in Eagles Nest Fellowship Church, 26633 Zion Church Road, Milton, De, where friends may call after 12 noon. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to: Eagles Nest Fellowship Church PO Box 129, Milton, DE 19968. Arrangements in the care of Short Funeral Services, Milton.
