William Nelson "Billy" Chorman, 69
MILTON – William Nelson "Billy" Chorman passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.
Billy was born in Seaford, DE, son of the late William H. and Dorothy (Fisher) Chorman. He graduated from Cape Henlopen High School with the Class of 1974. Billy did masonry work and hog farming for many years, after which he worked as a Supervisor with Allen Family Foods for 10 years prior to retiring.
Billy enjoyed taking drives around the area, spending time with and sharing local news with his family, and he never passed up a free meal (especially one that included dumplings).
In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Virginia Chorman.
He is survived by his 5 brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond Chorman (Jane), Nelson B. Chorman (Tammy), Michael Chorman (Nancy), Bruce Chorman (Debbie) and Edward Chorman (Donna); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and extended family.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
