William Natale Pierro, 77 GEORGETOWN - William Natale Pierro, a resident of Georgetown for the past 12 years, formerly of Timonium, Md., passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at home. He was 77. Mr. Pierro was born in Ambridge, Pa., the son of the late Joseph and Antionette (Mucello) Pierro. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean War. He was a self-employed contractor for 50 years retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Georgetown-Ellendale VFW, Georgetown Chamber of Commerce, and a former member of the Optimist Club of MD. He enjoyed landscaping, cooking and family gatherings. In addition to his parents, a brother, Ronald Pierro, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Randi Nye Pierro; children, William A. Pierro and his wife, Dawn of Ocean View, Debi Carey and her husband David of Abbington, Md., Michael J. Pierro of Timonium, Md., John Gardner and his wife Kandy of Baltimore, Md., Michael Gardner and his wife Linda of Lancaster, Pa., Barbara Pulliam of Preston, Md. and Jeff Gardner and his wife Cheryl of Baltimore, Md.; three brothers, Anthony Pierro and his wife Wanda of Georgetown, Joe Pierro and Arthur Pierro and his wife Joann all of Dundalk, Md.; two sisters, Rosemarie Celozzi and her husband Ronald of Ocean City, Md., and Kitty Catterton of Belair, Md.; eight grandchildren, Andres Arnovitz, Jason, Nicholas, Robert and Debbie Gardner, Jade and Rachel Pulliam, and Sarah Gardner; and two great-grandchildren, Layla and Sophia Arnovitz. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, June 27, 2010, at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. Burial will be Monday, June 28, at 10 a.m. at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
