HARRINGTON - William "Bill" N. Hinzman, formerly of Harrington, passed away peacefully at Delaware Hospice Center on Feb. 12, 2015. Bill was born at home in Farmington on Halloween, 1937 to the late William C. and Claudia Elliott Hinzman. After attending Harrington High School, he enlisted in the Navy and served as a "Seabee", US Naval Mobile Construction Battalion. Bill worked many years at Cainview Farms, caring for the dairy cows and knowing each by name, until his retirement. He was a member of Milford Church of the Nazarene. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Mildred Clara Conley Hinzman; a son, Terry J. Hinzman, and two brothers, Robert and Donald Hinzman. Bill is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Ken Doyle; a grandchild, Maya Doyle; a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and John Holman all of Milford; a special niece, Jennifer Holman of Harrington; and many other nieces, nephews, and extended family. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, at Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market St, Greenwood, where friends may visit beginning at 12:00 noon. Burial will be at Hollywood Cemetery in Harrington. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
