DOVER - William J. Henry, of Dover, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, at Kent General Hospital. He was 70. He was born June 27, 1941, in Millinocket, Maine, to Brindella Willette Henry and the late Felix Henry. Mr. Henry served in the United States Air Force retiring in 1983 as a Msgt, after 23 years of service. After his retirement, he went to work in collections for several banks including, Bank of Delaware/PNC, Delaware Federal Credit Union and Del One. He enjoyed bowling, golf and fishing. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brother, Ronald Henry. He is survived by his mother, Brindella Henry of Turnersville, N.J.; his wife of 48 ½ years, Karen Garfield Henry of Dover; sons, Michael Henry and his wife Amy of Dover, PJ Henry and his wife Krystal of Dover; brothers, Adrian Henry of Mullica Hill, N.J., Robert Henry of Turnersville, N.J.; sister, Carolyn Kruger of Haddonfield, N.J.; grandchildren, Paige and Jason Henry; and step grandchildren, Brianne, Brandon and Kyle. Funeral services will be noon, Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon. Interment will be held at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the American Lung Association, 422 S.
