Hopkins, 61 GREENWOOD - William H "Bill" Hopkins, 61, Greenwood, died at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, on Wednesday, July 2, 2014. Mr. Hopkins is the son of James Hopkins and Virginia Hopkins. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother Marvin. He was a plumber working for Alpine Construction and loved hunting, fishing, crabbing and clamming. He was an avid outdoorsman. He is survived by his wife, Katherine "Kathy"; his mother; and two children, Pamela Anne Wells and husband Mike, Jamie Adam Hopkins; and one step daughter, Mary Ann Parker and husband Tom. Also, three siblings, Dennis Hopkins, Perry Hopkins and Lana West. One grandchild, Parker; three step grandchildren, Brian, Ashley and Amanda; and two step great-great grandchildren, Jeremy and Elon. A celebration of Life will be 3 p.m., Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the residence of Brenda and Arland Mast, 14034 Staytonville Road, Greenwood, DE 19950. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963. Arrangements handled by Berry Short Funeral Home, Milford, DE.
