DOVER, Del. - William Enoch Durham passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022.
He was born August 4, 1953, in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Leroy Durham and Thelma Carney, and lived in Cheswold most of his life.
Mr. Durham was a retired Correctional Officer, where he was a certified sharpshooter and awarded for marksmanship with the Department of Corrections. On his free time, you could find him at the sporting clay events. He enjoyed helping friends with farm work and playing the occasional game of pool, where he won numerous trophies. He loved muscle cars, especially Camaros, he enjoyed racing 410 Sprint cars at the track as well.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Moos; and brother, Biff (Leroy) Durham.
He is survived by loving wife of 15 years, Robin Banks Durham of Dover, Del.; son, Jason Durham (Renee) of Smyrna, Del.; stepchildren, Eric Banks of Dover, Del., and Justin Banks of Estill Springs, Tenn.; sister, Pamela Stevenson (Frank) of Cape Elizabeth, Maine; and grandchildren, Samantha Elwell and Abigail McAllister; three step grandchildren; and one step great grandson.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Accent Care Hospice, or Brandywine Valley SPCA.
