WYOMING - William Albert Morton passed away Thursday, March 31, 2011, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 63. He was born on Oct. 8, 1947 in Oakland, Calif., son of the late William and Marion (Violet) Morton. William served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. He retired from Civil Service at Dover Air Force Base where he was an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician. William is survived by his wife of 21 years, Barbara Morton; a daughter, Heather Morton; two brothers, Michael Morton of Wyoming and Robert J. Morton of Connecticut; a nephew, Joel Morton of Connecticut; and a niece, Lindsey Bayshore of Maine. Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Monday, April 4, 2011 in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Committal service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2011 in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Chapel, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, where burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Kent County S.P.C.A., 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
