William A. Hering Jr., 67

FELTON - William A. Hering Jr., of Felton, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2009, in Kent General Hospital. He was 67. He was born on March 9, 1942, in Philadelphia, son of the late Catherine (McGown) and William Hering Sr. William served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force. He later worked in accounting for RV Auto Sales in Willingboro, N.J. He enjoyed gardening, doing yard work and was a ham radio operator. William is survived by his wife of 43 years, Bonnie Hering; two sisters-in-law, Diane Zalucki and her husband Norman of Newingham, Conn., and Roberta Lovette and her husband Joseph of Earlsville, Md.; nieces and nephews, Wendy Lovette, Joseph Lovette Jr., Amy Lovette and Douglas Lovette; and several great-nieces and nephews. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. this evening in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where prayers will be observed at 7:30 p.m. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, Millsboro, where burial will follow.
