Wayne Reynolds Brown

MILFORD - Wayne Reynolds Brown, Jr of Milford, passed peacefully from this life on June, 2, 2016 at the Delaware Hospice Center. Born in Milford in October of 1963, he lived in the Harrington area and attended Lake Forest Schools, earning his diploma in 1982. He was subsequently employed at Drapers King Cole Canning, Perdue Farms/Conagra and in a variety of positions through BestTemps, Inc. In January, 1998, he completed an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Program through Polytech Adult Education in Dover and went on to work in maintenance and labor positions in Dover and Rehoboth. Wayne was interested in all things automotive and collected diecast model cars. He also enjoyed family gatherings and providing chauffeur service for family and friends. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints – Harrington Ward, where he took great pride in his security position. He is survived by his father, Wayne R. Brown, Sr. of Dover; his mother, Barbara C. Brown of Milford; a brother, Alex C. Brown and spouse Mary C. Stone of Denver, Colo.; extended family and by Socks, the cat who adopted him. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 110 E. Lucky Estates Drive, Harrington, De. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be sent to either the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 110 E. Lucky Estates Drive, Harrington, De. Or to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963. Arr. by McKnatt, Carpenter & Baker Funeral Home, Harrington, De.
