DOVER - Wayne Edward Needam, Jr. passed away Monday, October 24, 2022, at Bayhealth Hospital Kent Campus.
Wayne was born July 21, 1978, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Debby Lorene Heydt Needam and the late Wayne Edward Needam, Sr.
Wayne worked in the food industry/services for several restaurants and most recently at Bayhealth Kent Campus in the food service department. Wayne enjoyed singing, Karaoke, being a DJ, crabbing, fishing, being on a boat, kayaking, being with nature, cooking, RC cars and loved the Eagles and Phillies, but most of all he loved being with his dogs.
In addition to his father; he was preceded in death by grandparents, William and Ruth Heydt, and Frizzelle and Thelma Needam; step-sister, Terrell Needam and her infant daughter.
He is survived by his mother, Debby Needam and her husband Pablo Rodriguez, Jr., of Magnolia; daughter, Octayvia Needam of GA; aunts and uncles, Linda and Dale Fronheiser of Boyertown, PA, and Iris and Ernest Needam of Townsend, DE; and many other aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
