Warren J. 'Joe' Muller, 66

MILFORD - Warren J. "Joe" Muller, loving husband of Loretta, of Milford, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, after a short illness with cancer, in Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. He was 66. Joe was born in Huntington, Long Island, N.Y., the son of the late Herman and Dorothy Davidson Muller. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a silk screener for the State of Delaware, Highway Department in Dover for 39 years. He attended Milford Church of the Nazarene. He loved nature and enjoyed sitting outside on his swing. He also enjoyed gardening and was a handyman. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Loretta M. Muller. He was a loving and devoted father to his son, Warren J."Joey" Muller Jr. of Houston; and his daughter, Becky Hooper and her husband Mike of Milford. Also surviving are his three grandchildren, Leah Zolik, Nadja Hooper and Jada Hooper; his extended family, including his cousins in New Castle County; his wife's family; his wonderful friends from the Sign Shop at the State Highway Dept; as well as his close friends and neighbors. He will be sadly missed. There will be no services. Contributions, may be made to the American Cancer Society, Delaware Chapter, 92 Reads Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720. Arrangements handled by Berry-Short Funeral Home, Milford.
