SEAFORD - Warren H. Grant, age 89, of Seaford, died on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012. Mr. Grant retired from the Dupont Co. in Seaford in 1981 after 35 years of service. He was an Army veteran of WW II and was awarded the Purple Heart. Warren also enjoyed bowling. His wife, Marie Ellen Grant, died in 1999. He is survived by a son, Ronald Grant and his wife Elaine of Georgetown; three daughters, Norma Goins and her husband Harvey of Horntown, Va., Cindy Meredith of Federalsburg, Md., and Janice McGee and her husband Michael of Seaford; a sister, Clara Grant of New York; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 10, at the Cranston Funeral Home, where friends may call on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will be in Woodland United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to the Woodland United Methodist Church, 6123 Woodland Church Rd, Seaford, DE 19973.
