It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Warren Hoover, a beloved family man and community volunteer. Born on November 26, 1942, Warren's vibrant life came to an end on May 13, 2026.
Warren's ebullient personality made a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. He was best described as joking, very friendly, and an extrovert. His contagious charisma lightened rooms and warmed hearts, leaving everyone in a better mood. His life philosophy was simple: Live, Love, Learn. These words encapsulated his zest for life and guided him in his everyday actions.
Warren was dedicated to his family, leaving behind a rich legacy of love and laughter. He is survived by his loving wife Sibyl, their devoted son Douglas, and caring daughter-in-law Dorothy, his ever close sister Ann Kopko, two Grand Children, six Great Grand Children, and many many nieces and nephews. Warren followed in the footsteps of his parents, the late Charles and Martha Hoover, and hid two brothers Charles Hoover Jr., and Clifford Hoover, learning to provide a strong and loving family environment.
Deeply committed to his community, Warren donated his time generously as a volunteer at the Frederica Senior Center. His community service to the elderly was a cause close to his heart, reflecting his belief in the inherent dignity and worth of every individual. For him, community service was not just a pursuit but a way of life.
Always eager to enjoy the finer things in life, Warren loved to fish and bake cookies, activities that brought him immense joy. A passionate player of Hand and Foot, he loved a good game with friends and family alike.
Warren's passing is a profound loss to all who knew him. His light-hearted spirit, enduring love for family, and passionate engagement with his community will continue to inspire us. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he has left behind.
