DOVER - Wandalee Beck went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017, in Cadia/Capitol Healthcare, Dover, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Oct. 8, 1922, in Evansville, Ind., to the late, Loren & Vivian(Grove) Deweese. Wandalee was a devout Christian woman, who served the Lord in various positions, wherever she was. She was a beloved Sunday School Teacher, served in the Women's Hospital Auxilliary, in Pendleton County, Ky., and served in different capacities at, Faith Community Church, in Camden, Del., where she was a member. She also served in a ministry, to migrant workers, in helping them to speak better English. Wandalee is survived by her husband, of 68 years, Rev. Jack Beck; 2 daughters, Michelle Saunders & husband, Eric, and Deri Austin & husband, Jim, both of Dover; Sister, Marilyn Schoenbachler, of Newburg, Ind.; 5 grandchildren, Dawn, Michael, Erica, Jennifer, and Jessica; and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where family and friends may view one hour before. Burial is Private, in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory, to Faith Community Church, Elders Fund, 2240 S. Dupont Hwy, P.O.Box 1, Camden, DE 19934. Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
