HOUSTON - Walter S. Riley Sr., 70, of Houston, passed away Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012, at Milford Memorial Hospital, Milford. He was born on June 14, 1941, in Lewistown, Pa., to the late Raymond C. and Whilimina Walters Riley. He was a member of Milford First Baptist Church in Milford. He was a graduate of Bible College in Springfield, Mo., and became a ordained Minister. He worked for the City of Dover at the Power Plant Dept. for 20 years. He was a Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Riley in 1994. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Hazel Riley of Houston; son and his wife, Walter S. and Sandra Prado-Riley Jr. of Wilmington; son and his wife, Timothy and Tracie Riley of Houston; daughter and her husband, Janelle and Justin Hobbs of Milford; grandchildren, Joshua Riley, Shawn Riley, Riley Wade, Aliene Wade, and Austin Hobbs. Remembrance Services will be 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, at Trader Funeral Home, Dover. Burial will be at the Sharon Hill Memorial Park, Dover. Friends may call Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Trader Funeral Home in Dover.
