MASSEY, Md. - Walter R. Ellis, of Massey, Md., went to live with the Lord on Oct. 31, 2010. Walter enjoyed his dream of farming after retiring from many years as a truck driver. He was a long time member of Kent Christian Church, Dover, Del. Walter is survived by his son, W. Wesley and wife Virginia; and two grandsons, Eric and Zachary Ellis, of Massey; daughter, Leslie Kramer of Wilmington, Del.; granddaughter, Kimberly Williams of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and a great- grandson, Steven Tapp, of Rising Sun. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred I. (Turner); and parents, Elmer Ellis and Clara (Emerson). A Memorial Service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at the Smyrna Diner, Smyrna.
