Virginia R. 'Gibby' Moore, 91 GREENWOOD - Virginia R. "Gibby" Moore, 91, of Greenwood, died Saturday, July 3, 2010, at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Moore was born in Denton, Md., the daughter of the late Beniah and Esther (Poole) Baker. She was a homemaker. Virginia was a member of the Harrington Senior Center, was an excellent horseshoe player and a wiz at Chinese Checkers. She also loved to do jigsaw puzzles and enjoyed gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Moore; a son, Harry Joseph "Joe" Moore; and two brothers, James Baker, and Charles Baker. She is survived by a daughter, Catherine E. Saragino of Greenwood; three sons, William Robert Moore, and Daniel Lee Moore, both of Greenwood, and Louis Thomas Moore of Ellendale; two grandchildren, Robert Saragino, and T.J. Chelton, both of Greenwood; and a sister, Emily Baker of Denton, Md. Funeral services were 1 p.m., Thursday, July 8, 2010, at the McKnatt, Carpenter & Baker Funeral Home, 50 Commerce Street, Harrington. Burial was in Hollywood Cemetery, Milford - Harrington Highway, Harrington.
