Virginia Josephine Melvin

FELTON - Virginia Josephine Melvin passed away on Sat., Feb. 28, 2015 at Bayhealth Medical Center, Dover surrounded by her family. She was born Feb. 2, 1935 in Chestertown, Md. to the late Ruley and Lelia Taylor. Virginia was a homemaker and lifetime member of Bethel Wesleyan Church, Goldsboro, MD. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her Sister, Gloria Collison. Virginia is survived by her Daughters, Linda Kay Thomas (Chris) of Henderson, MD, Shelia Heverin (Scott) of Dover and Dona Marcum (Jimmy) of Clayton; five Grandchildren, Marcus & Elayna Palacios, Kristen Thomas and Brandon & Tyler Marcum. Funeral services for Mrs. Melvin will be held on Thurs., Mar. 5, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Fleegle & Helfenbein Funeral Home in Greensboro, Md. The family will receive friends on Wed. from 7 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover following the service.
