Virginia “Ginny” Lee Nash of Laurel, DE formerly of Dover passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Beebe Hospital. She was 88.
Mrs. Nash was born October 23, 1936, in Altoona, Pennsylvania to the late David C. Cruse and Naomi Lucas Cruse.
She married her husband Sidney Nash in 1953 and traveled all over the world with his military career, retiring in 1972 from Dover Air Force Base. Mrs. Nash worked as a purchasing officer for DAFB as a civilian. She enjoyed RV camping and traveling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Sidney in 2018.
She is survived by son, Sidney Grant Nash, Jr. “Bud” and his wife Cathy of Laurel; daughter, Cindy Farley of Felton; grandchildren, Sidney Grant Nash, III and his wife Ashley of Clayton, Sara Gladys Nash of Smyrna, David Lee Farley, III of Felton, Jason Daniel Farley and his wife Jessica of Harrington, DE, Nicole Fooks and her husband Brian of Delmar, DE; great grandchildren, Brynlee, Mackenzey, Sebastian, Derek, Caden and Drake.
Graveside services will be held 11:00am, Monday January 27th, 2025, at Sharon Hills Memorial Park, 2928 Sharon Hills Road, Dover, DE 19904.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Modern Maturity Center, 1121 Forrest Avenue, Dover, DE 19904.
