DOVER - Virgie Ellen Eaton of Dover passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at home. Mrs. Eaton was born Feb. 5, 1911 in Mt. Airy, Maryland to the late Virgil Baker and Annie Baker. She owned her own beauty shop and retired at the age of 76. During the early years of her life she was very active in the Wesley United Methodist Church until her illness. Mrs. Eaton was a very compassionate women, she was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Edgar Baker; sister in law, Virginia Baker; and daughter in law, Janet Eaton. She is survived by her sons, C. Robert Eaton II, William D. Eaton and his wife Debra; grandchildren, Diana, Andria, Dean Eaton and Stacy Richard and husband Ross; great-grandchildren, Avery, Rossi, Braysen and Gunner Richard. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 5, 2013 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Interment will be in the Pinegrove Cemetery, Mount Airy, Maryland.
