MIDDLETOWN - Violet L. Pearl, 71, of Middletown, passed away Jan. 23, 2012. She is survived by her husband, Vernon Roland Pearl; three sons, Sebastian, Timothy and Matthew Strano; step-father, Daniel Melillo; three sisters, Judith Corey, Debora Sullivan and Danielle Melillo; brother, Douglas Melillo; granddaughter, Grace; four step-grandchildren, Shannon, Andrew, Madison and Ian; six nieces; three nephews, as well as many dear friends. Memorial services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 28, at Summit United Methodist Church, 554 Old Summit Bridge Road, Middletown.
