REHOBOTH BEACH - Victoria B. Reich, of Rehoboth Beach, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at her children's residence in Rehoboth Beach. She was 82.

Mrs. Reich was born Nov. 27, 1925, in Ford City, Pa., to the late Andrew and Mary (Sanko) Halas.

She was a 1943 graduate of Ford City High School.

Mrs. Reich received her registered nurse degree from West Penn School of Nursing and was formerly employed by PPG Industries.

She was a member of Christ, Prince of Peace Church, Ford City.

Mrs. Reich enjoyed close friends, reading, bridge clubs, travel, church and community activities.

She is survived by two daughters, Johnsine J. Reich of McLean, Va., and Betsy Bernal and husband Javier of Yorba Linda, Calif.; two sons, Henry E. Reich Jr. and wife Laurie of Ford City and James C. Reich of Rehoboth Beach; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reich was preceded in death by her husband, Henry E. Reich Sr.; three brothers, John G. Halas, Andrew Halas and Frank J. Halas; a sister, Mary J. Baculik; her stepfather, Joseph Caniga; and a stepsister, Frances Janovsky.

A memorial mass will be celebrated in Ford City, with a private interment to follow.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Edmond's Catholic Church, King Charles and Laurel streets, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.

Delaware arrangements are by Parsell Funeral Enterprises, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.

Pennsylvania arrangements are by Marrtini Funeral Home, Ford City.
