Vicky Lynn Scuse

SMYRNA - Vicky Lynn Scuse of Smyrna, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011, at Kent General Hospital in Dover, after a short battle with breast cancer. She was 58. Mrs. Scuse was born Jan. 12, 1953, in Seaford, the daughter of the late Linden and Peggy Marvel. She was currently employed with Delaware Electric Cooperative in Greenwood, as the Human Resources Manager. She was employed with them for 31 years. She was an active member of Calvary Assembly of God in Dover. Vicky enjoyed gardening, line dancing, making floral arrangements, boating and spending time at the beach. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Clarence T. Scuse Jr.; and a brother-in-law, Wayne Scuse. She is survived by her husband, Dale R. Scuse; two sons, Jamie Sharp and his wife, Honey of Clayton, and Christopher Scuse and his wife Brooke of Smyrna; two grandchildren, Kaylee and Brayden Sharp; a brother, Mike Marvel and his wife Belinda of Seaford; a sister, Judy Johnson and her husband Ray of Seaford; a mother-in-law, Joyce Scuse of Smyrna; a brother-in-law, Michael Scuse and his wife Patrice of Smyrna; two sister-in-laws, Robin Hamburg and her husband Richard of Smyrna, and Cindy Brown and her husband Brian of Smyrna; four nieces; and four nephews. A viewing will be held on Tuesday evening, Sept. 6, 2011 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Calvary Assembly of God, located at 1141 East Lebanon Road in Dover. Funeral services will held at Calvary Assembly of God on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011 at 11 a.m. where friends may call an hour before the services. Burial will be in Odd Fellows cemetery in Smyrna. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Calvary Assembly of God, Christmas and Easter Productions, 1141 East Lebanon Rd. Dover, DE 19901.
