GEORGETOWN - Verna B. Venables, 86, of Georgetown, died Monday, Nov. 7, 2011, at Governor Bacon Center, Delaware City. She was born in Raleigh, N.C., daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Belvin. She was a homemaker, interior designer and sold real estate. She is survived by one son, Stephen Mark Venables and his wife Shelley of Abell, Md.; two grandsons, Jakob and Zachary Venables; and a daughter, Barbara Smith of Westminister, Md. Graveside services will be 1 p.m., Thursday Nov. 10, 2011, at Union Cemetery, East Adams Street, Georgetown. Arrangements handled by Short Funeral Services, Georgetown.
