Verda Robertson

GREENWOOD - Verda Robertson passed away at home on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013 surrounded by her family. Verda was born Nov. 3, 1944 in Grantsville, Md. to the late Benedict and Fannie Mast Mullett. She was a member of Tressler Mennonite Church. Verda was a loving person with a servant's heart who would do anything for you. Her house was a gathering place for everyone, with her door always open. She was a fantastic baker and cook. She was a loving wife, and a wonderful mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Thomas E. Robertson Sr.; one son, Thomas E. Robertson Jr. of Greenwood; one daughter, Karla Carlisle and husband Will, of Greenwood; one step-daughter, Milly Lambka of Ellendale; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ernest and James Mullett; six sisters, Mary Schrock, Miriam Boychuk, Ruth Tennefoss, Martha Brubacher, Esther Hawk, and Mildred Sherman; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2014 at Tressler Mennonite Church, 13371 Wolf Rd, Greenwood, DE 19950. Viewing will be at the church on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Interment will be held at adjoining cemetery. Donations may be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963. Arrangements by Fleischauer Funeral Home, Greenwood.
